Natural Body Butter Recipe

The best body butter you’ll ever try… so delicious you’ll want to eat it (and you could)! No need for expensive beauty products loaded with chemicals and preservatives, try making your own, its so simple and easy, plus it will save you a lot of money! This is my go to moisturiser, I use it all over, its skin food at its best!

I know a lot of people tend to use just pure coconut oil, but I personally don’t always find it moisturising enough, especially in the cold winter months. So the addition of cacao butter in this gives it that extra nourishment your skin may need. Its also less oily and more of a cream so easier to apply without it dripping everywhere.

Raw Body Butter Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cacao Butter
  • 1 cup Coconut oil

Possible additions:
Few drops of any essential oil you like (rose, lavender…)
MSM powder
Aloe
Grapefruit seed extract
Few drops vanilla extract

Method
Slowly melt the cacao butter and coconut oil in the dehydrator (to keep it raw), if you don’t have a dehydrator you can always put it in a glass dish over a bowl of hot water. Once melted mix together adding any additions you like. Allow to cool in container of your choice. Apply to the whole body for wonderful hydration and moisture.
