Raw Haystacks

One of my favorite recipes, they are so easy to make and a hit with everyone. Can also be frozen if you don’t have a dehydrator.

2 Cups Desiccated Coconut
¾ Cup Raw Cocoa (can use carob instead)
¾ Cup Maple Syrup
¼ Cup Coconut Oil
1tbs Vanilla
Pinch of Salt

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients and stir well to combine. Form into rounds using an ice cream scoop, placing on dehydrator screens. Dehydrate for 12-24hrs at 115 degrees F, until crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.

For Blonde Haystacks: Replace the cocoa powder in the recipe with an equal amount of fine almond flour.
