The best natural flu remedy!
Feeling flu-ish and run down is the worst, especially during the summer. Instead of going for the usual over the counter meds why not try out this nutrient-dense powerhouse shot? Or just when you feel like a little pick-me-up is in order.
I tend to take about 3 of these shots throughout the day, whenever i am feeling a little run down or i will have just one shot in the morning for an immune boost. It literrally stops those colds and flus in their tracks. Fast!!
Ginger stimulates the digestive system, warms you up, and helps break up mucus in the lungs, as well as soothe even the most painful sore throats.
Lemon provides a nice dose of vitamin C whilst also boosting immunity and detoxifying the body.
Cayenne is potent and effectively treats fevers, poor circulation, nausea, and other digestive complaints (you only need a tiny bit to benefit from its medicinal properties).
The shot is fast, effective and easy to make. Try it out:
- Juice ½-1 whole lemon
- Juice 1-inch piece of ginger
- Add a dash or two of cayenne pepper
Put ingredients in a shot glass. Stir. Knock it back! You’l feel the effects fairly quickly.
