Raw Chocolate Ice Cream – 2 Ingredients Only

Super simple raw ice cream! The perfect snack, dessert or even breakfast! It’s super delicious, fat free, sugar free and dairy free which means it’s totally cruelty free. Simply a base of bananas whipped up into a rich and silky ice cream with some raw cacao powder. Its totally guilt-free and possibly the best ice cream I have ever had!

There are so many variations you can do with this, just use frozen banana as the base and add whatever you want…be creative and have fun experimenting with what works for you.

Ideas for other add-in’s: almond butter – chocolate chips – nuts – coconut – cinnamon – spirulina – berries or any other fruit

Its even great plain with just banana!


(serves 2)

  • 4 Frozen Banana’s
  • 2 T Cacao powder 

Blend frozen bananas and cacao powder (or whatever other ingredients you choose) in a food processor or high speed blender until smooth (you may have to scrape down the sides and blend again). Serve immediately for soft serve ice cream or place in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up. I topped mine with raw cacao nibs for that crunch!

Tip: Make sure you peel the bananas before you freeze them otherwise its ridiculously hard to get the peel off, also chop them in to small pieces before freezing as this will make it easier to blend!

I tend to have bags of frozen bananas in my freezer as they are great in smoothies, desserts and for ice cream!
