Raw Pizza

Pizza Crust:
2 cups yellow squash
1 cup pecans
1 T nutritional yeast
1/2 T dried basil (or herbs or choice)
2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup flax meal
pinch of pepper & salt

  1. Process all ingredients in a foods processor (except flax meal and dried basil) until smooth
  2. Place in a bowl mixing in flax meal and dried basil until well combined
  3. Spread on teflex sheet to 1/2 inch thickness to shape of choice
  4. Dehydrate for at least 24hrs at 115 degrees F, until almost completely dry but still a bit pliable.

Tomato Sauce:
1 1/3 cup seeded and chopped tomatoes
1 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes (soaked at least 15mins and drained. Keep liquid)
1/3 cup soaking liquid from sun dried tomatoes
1/4 tsp dried herbs
pinch or pepper & salt

  • Blend all ingredients until smooth

Toppings:
Cover with any toppings you want, I used arugula, figs, apple and basil on mine…enjoy!
