The best ever chocolate smoothie

I absolutely love smoothies, I could live off them! They’re a great breakfast on the run, a snack, a way to use up food and also a great way to take care of those sweet cravings. This is my absolute favourite smoothie at the moment, it is just so deliciously smooth, rich, creamy and chocolatey! Yet still so wonderfully light and, even better, so speedy to make. Try it, you wont regret it!!

Ingredients:

  • 1 c raw almond milk, click here for recipe
  • 2 medjool dates, pitted
  • 2.5 T raw cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tsp maca powder (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender, blend for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Pour, sip and enjoy!
